While the Pacific Northwest continues to get drenched, all hell is breaking out in cattle country on the southern Plains. For the second time in less than 10 years, huge wildfires have been raging out of control to little national attention. Just as reports are coming out on yet another record-shattering year for global temperatures and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in 2016.
Like counterparts in Atlantic Coast states facing sea level rise, politicians like Sen. Imhofe and Gov. Fallin of Oklahoma (not to mention former AG and now EPA Director Scott Pruitt) and Texas Gov. Sam Brownback are among the most rabid climate science deniers. Where's it all going to end?
