Sammy Black and Ethan Harrison, leaders of the Portland Tenants United, discuss the recent betrayal by the "Democratic Landlord Senators of Salem" (the title of a new song by David Rovick), who got paid big landlord lobbyist bucks, gutted House Bill 2004, then still refused to pass it. The original bill would have opened the way for rent control and an end to no-cause evictions in the state.
