Interview with Dan Raphael

For over three decades Dan Raphael’s been active in the Northwest as poet, performer, editor and reading host.  His 19^th book of poetry, Everyone in This Movie Gets Paid, came out in June last year; between June and December, Dan gave 17 readings.  His work has appeared in nearly 300 magazines, websites and anthologies, and he's given poetry readings in 112 different places in Portland.  Currently he hosts the FoPo Poetry series at Backstory Books on Foster Road, is the prose editor for Unlikely Stories (an on-line lit mag based in New Orleans,) and writes a news poem every Wednesday for the KBOO evening news.
