Investigative reporter Greg Palast has been shining a light on voter suppression for years. With Trump in office, we're likely to see the Republicans pulling out all the stops to gerrymander, jury-rig and manipulate the process to prevent the Democrats from taking back seats in upcoming elections. Also, the long-standing consent decree to stop potential voter suppression--in place since 1982--by the Republican National Committe is set to expire this Friday unless further extended by a Federal District Court in New Jersey. As Richard Hasen says in a new Slate article ("Vote Suppressors Unleashed"), "What happens next, with Donald Trump in charge of the Republican Party, will likely not be pretty."
