Guest Host Jacqueline Keeler, of Dine' (Navajo) and Yankton Dakota heritage has written extensively about the Bears' Ears National Monument. She contributed an essay to Red Rock Stories: Three Generations of Writers Speak on Behalf of Utah’s Public Lands, a trade edition of an artists’ chapbook that was delivered to every member of the U.S. congress in June of last year as part of the push for National Monument designation; and more recently edited Edge of Morning: Native Voices Speak for the Bears Ears, featuring essays and poetry by Native Americans about the sacred Bears Ears landscape.

Since Trump's controversial decision to drastically reduce the Bears' Ears Monument, she's written several articles investigating the story behind that action and the tribes' reactions (including several lawsuits).
