

Diana Saltoon Briggs is an author of four books with her latest release Wife Just Let Go: Zen, Alzheimers, and Love, which she co-wrote with her now deceased husband Robert Briggs. She has traveled extensively, studied yoga and in the 1970s developed a program that dealt with modern stress. She is a long time member of Portland’s Wakai Tea Association and teacher of Chado, she now gives demonstrations and workshops on The Way of Tea, where she teaches students how to give a tea gathering that produces an ambiance of peacefulness, joy and a natural unity among friends and strangers alike. Her other books include Tea and Ceremony: Experiencing Tranquility and The Common Book of Consciousness and Four Hands Green Gulch Poems.
