Portland filmmaker Maria Allred and film archivist Elliot Lavine join us in the studio
We welcome Oregon State University professor Elliot Lavine back to the KBOO studios to preview his new course at Cinema 21 on classic 1950's science fiction films and their intersection with Cold War politics.
We're also joined by Portland filmmakers Maria Allred and Damien Genardi, whose debut feature film The Texture of Falling takes a deep dive into the intersection of love and art.
