Paynes Grey reads this story about a washed up screenwriter trying to stay alive in the new Hollywood of the 1940s.  Fitzgerald's stories of Pat Hobby were originally published in Esquire Magazine, and are some of his last published works. They are drawn from his own experiences as a writer for the big studios in Hollywood's Golden Age.  The Audio is a little on the poor side so no adjustment necessary.
