REVIEW OF TODD HAYNES FILM COMING SOON TO HOLLYWOOD THEATER
On Weds December 12th The Hollywood Theater will screen Todd Haynes 2015 film "Carol" in 35mm. Presented for the holiday season as part of the Hollywood Theaters’ once monthly Queer Commons Film Festival, Carol stars Cate Blanchet and Rooney Mara and tells the story of a forbidden love affair further troubled by age and class difference in 1950’s New York. Movie Moles Frann Michel and DeniseMorris reviewed Carol in January 2016. This film is also available on line.
