Affordable housing advocate, and former Portlander, Matthew Charles Cardinale is running for Atlanta City Council, in a March special election. Let's talk with Matthew about housing, queerness, politics, and the future. 

"How can we actually end trans oppression?" We'll listen to a piece created by Alyssa Pariah in October, in response to Trump administration moves to redefine 'sex' and 'gender'. Alyssa is host 'The Struggle,' a program on KBOO on Friday evenings. 

Finally, as part of our ongoing segment called "Tell Us About the Law, Sasha", we'll talk with Lambda Legal attorney Sasha Buchert. Sasha is a former Portlander and once-KBOO volunteer who left the city to work for the Transgender Law Center in Oakland, and now livesi n DC as staff attorney for Lambda Legal.
