A celebration of Carnival/Mardi Gras music and culture locally and in Louisiana

 Phil G here; I'll be sitting in on the SongCircle this Friday, 2/22, and will be joined by mebers of the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus, Portland's very own Mardi Gras Krewe and Social Pleasure Club.

We will be discussing Mardi Gras culture in Louisiana and whythese folks brought it to Oregon.


We'll also talk about the upcoming Ball and Parade put on by the Mysti Krewe.

 

Of course, there will be a lot of great Louisiana music in between chats, as well!
