With the end of a devastating four years of Trump Middle East policy, what does the new Biden administration offer? While he may overturn some of the worst aspects of Trump policy, he will certainly maintain continuity with Obama's policies, which were disappointing.

We'll also review Biden's foreign policy team including newly named Secretary of State, Tony Blinken.

The panelists will discuss a progressive U.S. Middle East policy: what would it look like and how can we realize it?  Some of the issues to be discussed:

Israel-Palestine
Regional conflict among Iran, Saudi Arabia and Israel
Yemen

The panelists are:

Omar Rahman, fellow, Brookings Dubai
Muhammad Sahimi, Professor of Engineering, University of Southern California
Richard Silverstein, journalist, Tikun Olam blog - Read recent article by Richard about Biden's appointment of Tony Blinken for Secretery of State
