KBOO's Winter Membership Drive begins on Friday, January 22nd. We still have opportunities for volunteers to staff the phones during our nine-day on air fundraiser, which ends Saturday, January 30th. Shifts are available from early morning through the evening. Please contact me with any questions, or to find a time that will work for your schedule. If you have considered volunteering at KBOO, but haven't yet taken the plunge, this is a wonderful way to check out the station, meet other volunteers, talk all things KBOO, and provide the station with much needed help during this important fundraiser.
Volunteers do many things during the drive; we still have openings to:
- answer phone calls from our listeners as they pledge to become members
- do data entry, or other critically important work in the membership office
Just contact me for more information about scheduling, or to discuss what you'd like to do.
If you'd like to continue volunteering following the drive, the next volunteer orientation will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 10 AM - Noon. Seating is limited, so please arrive early.
