A celebration of spring bird songs and Cinco de Mayo
I was sitting on our beautiful deck in the urban woods of Arnold Creek in the wilds of Southwest Portland enraptured by the morning chorus of birds and reveling in the incredible greenness and the beautiful blossoms on our grand old apple tree and I felt the cycle of life moving toward a new beginning. With the vaccine, the new administration, and the lovely weather it felt like we have turned a corner. Today’s show is my attempt to convey that hopeful feeling of spring in song.
There’s a tribute to Mother’s Day before closing with some rousing songs to get you in the Cinco de Mayo spirit.
