On Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 11.30am Joseph Gallivan interviews three comic book artists at Rose City Comic Con. He talks to Nicola Scott from Australia who does Wonder Woman and other comics for DC; Jack Kent who draws interesting-looking people on the street in Portland for the series Sketchy People; and Steve Lieber, kingpin of the Portland comics world and most recently working on the comedic work about Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen, who is a vlogger at the now declining newspaper The Daily Planet.
All three of them talk about their aesthetic, their methods, the meaning of their work and their place in the comics industry.
Comic Con was held at the Oregon Convention Center Sept 22-23, 2023.
