Hey now, Phil G here; this Saturday 3/23, I will be joined by guest host Leigh Anne Kranz. Since it's women's history month, there will be a two-fold show; the first half will be women covering Grateful Dead songs, including Suzanne Vega, Katie Skene, Goodnight Moonshine, and more. Then, Leigh Anne will have an interview with the legendary Betty Cantor-Jackson about, among other things, the Betty Boards. Leigh Anne says: "Betty Cantor Jackson, the first female audio engineer in rock history and the ears behind the legendary Betty Board live Grateful Dead recordings shares her philosophy on capturing sound, her experiences as part of the Grateful Dead family and crew, challenges she overcame as a woman engineer, and how she would like to be remembered.
