The Sixth European Harm Reduction Conference was held recently in Warsaw, Poland, bringing together people who use drugs, practitioners, advocates, policy experts, and public officials from across Europe and around the world. On this edition of Free Culture Radio we hear portions of a satellite event entitled “Dealing with drugs II - Cities and the international pursuit of sensible regulation,” featuring audio from Femke Halsema, Mayor of the City of Amsterdam; Volker Turk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights; and Neil Woods, a former UK police officer and undercover operative who’s currently on the board of the Law Enforcement Action Partnership.
