Dede Montgomery is a 6th generation Oregonian, published author and Certified Industrial Hygienist and Safety and Health Professional. Dede Montgomery explores the jumbled paths of forgiveness, grief, gratitude and human connection in all of her writing. She has published four books with the press Bedazzled Ink Publishing, including her March 2024 memoir titled From First Breath to Last: A Story About Love, Womanhood, and Aging. Dede's first book and memoir is titled My Music Man (2017).Dede was a 2019 Oregon State Capitol Foundation Speaker Series presenter, sharing My Music Man stories on Oregon’s February 14 Birthday. Dede’s published works of fiction include Beyond the Ripples, released in 2019, and her 2022 linked short story collection titled Humanity’s Grace . Dede frequently blogs as a way to make sense of the thoughts circling her brain.
