Standup Comedy is back at KBOO - join us in the back!
As part of Women's History Month and KBOO's All Thrills No Frills, Comics Take and Comedian Cimberly Nickell are producing standup comedy show for the KBOO community. The show is on March 28th at the station (doors open at 6:30pm). Make a plan to come in KBOO Studios for a night of PG13 rated laughter. Bring your friends. Ally J Ward: (@allyjisgay) Ally J Ward is a self proclaimed good girl and dumb baby. She is a queer and trans stand up comic, improviser and storyteller. Her comedy is dry up front, but silly and a bit petty as she settles in. In 2025, she was named Portland’s Funniest Person by her peers and the Willamette Week.
Andrea Joseph: (@andreadjoseph) (Oxygen, Damon Dash Studios, Freeform): Currently based out Portland, OR, Andrea Joseph got her start by performing and producing shows in Los Angeles’ World famous Comedy Store. Andrea would go on to perform in theaters and clubs throughout the country. Andrea shares her unique perspective as a biracial, dyslexic only child with a knack for overthinking and over sharing with a hilarious and relatable touch.
Kristin Rowan: (@kristinlrowan) Kristin Rowan is a comedian based in Portland, OR whose style ranges from the personal to the absurd. She hosts the comedy show Stretch every second Tuesday at Covert Cafe. She’s a pro player at ComedySportz Portland. In 2015 she won BAHFest Seattle with her fake invention of social media for plants. She’s also the author of the young adult novel “Paula and Mr. Meanie Pants.”
Megan Otto: (@mottobot) Megan is a Portland based comedian who doesn't understand the concept of oversharing, which everyone in her life truly appreciates. She performs regularly in Portland and occasionally hosts at Helium when she's not collapsing in on herself.

Rachelle Cochran: (@ItsRachelleCochran) Rachelle describes her comedy style as “unique" and "loud." Think of her as the silly lesbian next door who owns too many crocs. She was recently recognized by her Doordash driver as “that one who didn’t do so bad” at Portland’s Funniest. Rachelle is also a big fan of naps.
Patti Mansbach: (@patti.mansbach) Patti Mansbach is a Portland based comedian. Originally from NJ, she has been delighting the Pacific Northwest since 2017.
The show is being produced by Comics Take favorite Comic Board Operators, Cimberly Nickell. Cimberly Nickell is a stand-up comedian (correction: an improviser turned stand-up) from Portland, OR. Maybe you have seen her perform with the short-lived indie improv team, Couch (with the Portland pronunciation) Potato! Now that we are talking potatoes, Cimberly claims to be the culinary genius behind mashed potatoes as a dipping sauce for potato wedges. She considers herself a real ideas woman.
