Arab Spring Conference Part 1/3

In February, a group of scholars, activists, journalists, writers and thinkers met at Portland State University for a day of series and discussions called The Arab Spring: A Year That Changed the World.

The conference, organized by the campus group Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights, or SUPER, aimed to examine the events of the Arab Spring, its regional and international implications, and its effects on the future of Palestine.

KBOO was there, and is proud to present three lectures from the conference.

The first hour of the special features a lecture by student activist and cohost of KBOO's One Land Many Voices Wael Elasady, speaking on the ongoing revolt and humanitarian crisis in Syria.
