interview with Pacific Green Party's Blair Bobier
KBOO reporter Jennifer Kemp spoke with Blair Bobier of the Pacific Green Party for the evening news. Bobier contests Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown's decision to bar Green Party candidates from running on the Oregon State ballot. Bobier objects, saying that the Green Party has in the past received more than 1% of votes, legitimately qualifying the party to run candidates on the ballot. The Pacific Green Party has also maintained the necessary numbers of voters allow their candidates to remain on the ballot. Bobier sees the issues as a larger one of democracy and freedom of choice for voters.
