Recent strategies for blocking abortion rights in Texas
The Left and the Law today focuses on recent court decisions in Texas that restrict access to abortion, and a decision by a judge in the 5th Circuit court that threw out some of the claims about the risks of abortion. Psychologist Jan Haaken and attorney Mike Snedeker talk specifically about the tactical shift among anti-abortion forces to build a case for mental health risks, and their efforts to gain legitimacy for what they term "post-abortion trauma syndrome."
