Village Building Convergence and local community-building
We turn now from the global to the local, with two events beginning today in Portland attempting to build local community – the Village Building convergence, and a North Portland neighborhood treque, or barter exchange.
The Village Building convergence is a week long event to bring together neighborhoods to create long-lasting community structures and transform our city. Eoin Bastable brings us this next piece about the village building convergence.
