The Golden Motors is a relatively new group fronted by singer/songwriter wunderkind Dan Jones. There is a little something for everyone in this band: Power-Pop, Post-Punk, Loud Guitars, and wry lyrics. Their song "Perfect Flowers" off of their self-titled debut (released this year, you can find it at CD Baby) is indeed just that: PERFECT.
Tune in at midnight to hear the live set. Stick around afterwards (until 3am) for a bit of holiday music, longform mixes from Dan Deacon and Hype Williams, plus a Mystery 45 and some ambient music highlights from this year featuring Brian Eno, Julian Cope, and local artist Grouper.
