Why Can't My Child Behave? by Jane Hersey
Dr. Naimon talks with Jane Hersey author of Why Can't My Child Behave?  about the role of diet in childhood behavioral problems.  Refined sugars and flours are not the only culprits, or always the main ones.  Recent research shows that exposure to synthetic food dyes, certain nutritional deficiencies and allergens can also be behind mood swings, ADHD, and learning difficulties in some children.  Jane Hersey is the national director of the nonprofit Feingold Association, and a former teacher and Head Start consultant. She has testified before the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Congress about diet and ADHD.
