The "Just Transition" is to that new economy necessary to avoid environmental cataclysm, a transition that creates good work and income for all and cleans up the environmental ruination of low income particularly people of color communities. That is, Just Transition means building an economy run towards economic and social justice.

Join "Fight for $15" advocate Seattle City Councilor Kshama Sawant, Joe Uehlein of Labor Network for Sustainability, Vancouver, BC City Councilor Andrea Reimer, and Just Transition Alliance Director Jose Bravo at a public forum on how Portland can lead the country away from fossil fuel export infrastructure and toward a cleaner, more equitable economy.
