Rebroadcast of the April 2017 interview with Portland author Mario DePriest regarding his new book, The Power of a Rose. Subtitled "Man-to-Man on Women, Romance and Communication," this is a primer for men who want to improve their relationships with the opposite sex. DePriest, well known locally as a poet, actor, vocalist and lyricist, has a passion for "mediation and intrusive meddling." Through this book, he "seeks to interject a calming breeze of romantic hope in a world of romantic turbulence." As this interview reveals, DePriest has a lot of personal experience to apply.
