A berry farm in the heart of Cully neighborhood and what it takes to get an acre garden ready for planting.

Host Glen Andresen welcomes fellow Master Gardener Trish Brazil to talk about the creation of City Berry Farm, a fantastically dense garden of edible fruits and vegetables, right in the heart of the Cully neighborhood in NE Portland. Trish bought the 2/3-acre lot and house in 2015, and rather than scrape the house and build six houses (or whatever), she created another type of paradise. But before she talks about what all she grows, she'll tell us what she did to get the land ready to plant. Plus, she also grows and sells citrus plants. She says they do great here!

As always, we'll answer your gardening questions, have a new Plant of the Month (unusual citrus varieties), define our Dirtbag Dictionary word ("watercore"), quiz you with a new Garden Stumper, and, maybe this will become a new "feature," what's annoying Glen this month!

The Dirtbag... Listen. Laugh. Learn.
