Voting in America - Man, We Are in Trouble

Being a Campaign Manager for my husband’s bid for Benton County Commissioner this past year put me in a unique position to hear people’s emotions, perceptions and misconceptions around the act of voting.  Voting is an activity that I view as not only a civil right, but a sacred rite.  I’m sorry to say that I was often dismayed by what I heard from the public regarding their decision process (or lack of) in terms of how they vote – or decide not to vote.  In this episode, I’ll share with the listener a window into that view of my life as a Campaign Manager for a local, grassroots bid.
