Motherload Movie
Cargo bikes are the second coming... maybe you can take your's across America (without roads).

In the first half of this week's show, we'll have on Liz Canning, director, producer and editor of the upcoming film, "Motherload", which starts as an autobiographical story of her search for freedom and connection through cycling with her kids, but explodes into an exploration of how cargo bikes may be the second wave of cycling that can help save us all. In the second half of the hour, we're joined by Brandi Horton of the Rails to Trails Conservancy to introduce the Great American Rail-Trail, an off-road, semi-paved path that when complete, will traverse 3,700 miles across 12 states and the District of Columbia. In other words, in a not too distant future, you'll be able to ride across the US-- without roads.
