The threat of coronavirus means that organizing and protesting in person is often not feasible for many, even if they would like to make their presence known and their voice heard. But local groups have found a way through that barrier, using car caravans as a way to show support for a range of issues.

Organizers against police violence, including victim's families, are holding car caravan protests in Portland three times a week during June and July.

KBOO's Sam Bouman was at a protest on June 22nd in Southeast Portland.
