You may know Tom May as the genial host of Winterfolk, the annual benefit concert that has spotlighted national and local folk singers for over 30 years. Or you may know Tom as the host of the nationally syndicated radio show River City Folk. Or you may love his great songs about the great Western U.S., Pacific NW, Alaska, Montana, and author (along with former Portlander Dick Weissman) of the book "Promoting Your Music: The Lovin' of the Game".
Tom can add to the list memoirist with the recent publication of "I Wouldn't Count on it: Confessions of an Unlikely Folksinger".
I had the great pleasure of talking with Tom about his new book and his "unlikely" career via Zoom in early November.
Please join us to hear Tom's lively tales of his colorful life in music and how he came to love and eventually settle down in the Pacific NW.
