Portlanders Protest at City Club Candidate Forum
The Portland City Club hosted a noontime debate today between the Democrat and Republican candidates in the race to fill Oregon’s first Congressional District.
Just weeks before the special election to fill David Wu’s seat, the Club declined to invite Progressive Party candidate Steven Reynolds and Libertarian Party candidate James Foster to this influential forum. Supporters of the excluded candidates gathered this morning outside the forum in downtown Portland, and KBOO’s Joe Meyer was on the scene.
