Occupy Portland Moves Indoors

The Occupy Portland Movement has moved indoors, with a new headquarters opening today in the basement of Saint Francis church.

The new space is located at Southeast 12th and Oak Street, and will be open this evening beginning at 5:30.

Organizers with the Occupy Portland movement say they hope the presence of a legal, semi-permanent space with regular office hours will give the community at large a chance to get involved.

Kboo spoke with a member of Occupy Portland who helped organize tonight’s open house.
