A podcast featuring audio drama, dark comedy, & other unexpected vignettes from Corvallis & beyond.
This is episode 7 of The Spirit of the Forest, an audio drama/comedy created by Corvallis resident Dan Crall, which reflects upon the sadness, absurdity, and normalcy of modern life.

This episode features a step-by-step audio guide to the proper usage and handling of the much coveted inflatable Rush Limbaugh Listening Companion, various vignettes from around Corvallis, Oregon and Oregon State University, impeccable wisdom of televangelist Pat Robertson about vegetable addiction, the sonic diary of a 5 year old, a talk via a video chat site with a young man who is "Robo-tripping," the unveiling of the much anticipated "Rickshaw Diaries" and a modern-day, local adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's short story, "A Little Walk."

Featuring the music of Ubik, as well as the vocal talent of Dan Crall, John Knight, Sarah Campbell, Eric Everhard, John Crall, Pat Robertson, my neighbor Dale, my step-dad Dennis, an unknown late night phone prankster, and numerous anonymous voices, this episode was recorded in late February and early March 2015 in Corvallis, Oregon.
