Women Fostering Creativity and Sustainability
Host Ashley Thirstrup features two local women who will be discussing various topics around creativity, sustainability and building entrepreneurial skills within ourselves as women. The first part will be an interview with Marisha Auerbach, a local educator and botanist working to encourage sustainable futures through sharing knowledge on a variety of topics including permaculture, polyculture, gardening, local economics, community building, edible landscape design and organic gardening.
The second part of the show will feature a local artist and educator named Tea Fly living and working in Portland, OR. Her work is whimsical and powerful, and she is the creative mastermind by the popular manifesto and illustration titled ‘My Body is Not a Democracy, ’ which she will read on Bread and Roses.
