Ani and Lyn will be talking to Barbara Ford, arts and event co-ordinator for for 350 PDX, herself an artist, muscian working to bring heart and art to the climate justice movement , as well as David Soinit, the national arts concultant for 350.org about the intersection and purpose of art in activism
We will also talk about the upcoming event " In a Time of Extinction, a Call to Life", the 350 PDX Benefit Concert feauturing Kathleen Dean Moore and Rachelle McCabe, performing a program of words and music, with an interpretation of Sergi Rachmaninoff's "Variations on a Theme of Corelli". Sunday Feb. 27 at 7:00 at the Central Lutheran Church, 1820 NE 21st Ave in Portland
