“Keepin It Real” is a public affairs, talk radio program that strives to educate and to offer a forum for people to speak their truth while being open minded and inclusive.
On “Keepin It Real”:
- We take a look at the local, national and global news that are ignored in the mainstream American media
- We shed light on what’s happening at the grassroots level in our neighborhood of North Portland, and take a critical look at the good and the bad
- We highlight professionals working with youth towards social change but also empowering people in their community
This show invites local guests on from North Portland, Portland and the Pacific North West, including Seattle, and emphasizes youth perspectives. World music is also featured on the show.
