Gratitude to guest on Disability Awareness
My show Disability Awareness has stated to take on new life. I have the privilege to interview guest that are coming from different disabilities, both invisible and apparent. Lately I have been able to speak to researchers with important ground breaking books that are important to the community. This month (June) I will be interviewing Linda M. Blum who wrote Raising Generation RX: Mothering Kids with Invisible Disabilities in an Age of Inequality. Next month my guest will be Sherry M. Joiner who wrote 'Sherry Goes Sane: Living a Life with Schizo-Affective Disorder'. I want to give a special shout out to Laura Sandow who picks me up and gets me to the KBOO studio on time. Laura is an ongoing guest addressing PTSD brought on by her military service. I am grateful to all who make this show possible.
