On January 3, 2019 the Board of Directors of KBOO accepted the resignation of Delphine Criscenzo as Station Manager. Prior to her being named to that position, Del spent several years as an active volunteer and made numerous contributions as a programmer, trainer, collective participant, and board member.  She was a strong supporter of the KBOO mission and we thank her for her many contributions over the years.

Any time an organization has leadership change, it naturally raises questions about that organization’s overall direction. The Board of Directors of KBOO would like staff, volunteers and members to know that we remain fully committed to the mission and core values of the station.  We would encourage anyone with specific questions to email us at board@kboo.fm or to get actively involved with the station.

Members are encouraged to attend the monthly board meetings or volunteer for membership in any of the committees that support the station’s strategic direction.  A complete list of committees including meeting times and locations can be found at https://kboo.fm/committees

After just celebrating our 50th anniversary, we are excited about KBOO’s future and our commitment to locally-rooted, diverse programming by and for our communities. We want to hear your voice - take the next step by joining one of our committees or by attending our next Volunteer Orientation at KBOO on Monday, March 4th at 6pm. You can learn more on the “Get Involved” section of the KBOO Website.

No offense, but this leaves more questions unanswered than it answers.
