Great show today.
Kicking things off with Jerry/Merle/Billy/Fogerty/Kahn from. 9/24/71. Playing tracks from the early and late. Dedicated Save Mother Earth > Imagine, to my friends Ethan and Liz who are getting married on Sunday and to their daughter Fiona.
2nd half of the show, I'll be playing some tracks from Northwest String Summit. I also sent Syke McDonald some questions about the festival which is in it's 20th and final year out at Horning's Hideout. We talk about some of his favorite memories, how the festival has changed, and what's in store for the future. I'm gonna miss this festival, where I've met some of my closest friends.
Also another festival to put on locals' radar is Homegrown Gorge Festival.
