In celebration of the Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge swinging through Portland this month, we're exploring the evolution of female-presenting queer icons in music from 1930s Lucille Bogan, to 1960s Maxine Feldman, to the queer icons of the 1990s on through today's gender expanding queer artists!
