A tribute to Doc Watson, plus live bands Wayward Vessel & the Pickups
Tune in from 9am to noon for a very special Music from the True Vine! 9-11 will be a Doc Watson memorial show, and then we'll have two great live bands -- the Pickups, and Wayward Vessel. Don't miss it!
Wayward Vessel plays acoustic music, born from the traditions formed by the early bluegrass pioneers such as Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley, and uniquely makes it their own by adding their own influences of pop, jazz, and everything else.
The Pickups are a bluegrass quartet based in the Portland, Oregon area, and were founded under a rusted, half exploded, hot brown, motherless truck somewhere in the upper reaches of the Willamette Valley in the year of our lord, 2005.
