One of the great figures in bluegrass music passed away Christmas morning 2020. Tony Rice, guitar player, singer and band leader influenced bluegrass and jazz since the early 1970s. His flatpicking guitar style changed bluegrass guitar and his modern approach to singing old songs brought them to a new generation
On Jan 2nd Justin Auld will air a one hour tribute to Tony Rice on Music From the True Vine
On Jan 9th Dave Elliott will present a full show of the many different groups, duets and solo recording from his career.
