Residents Protest Lewis and Clark College Expansion

A group of residents of the Collins View neighborhood in southwest Portland are up in arms about a planned expansion by Lewis and Clark College.  The College hopes to construct three new apartment-style dorms in a residential neighborhood off Terwilliger Boulevard.  But neighbors have launched an angry campaign against the new buildings, saying that the College acted in bad faith in its relations with the neighborhood, and glossed over the many potential problems of the site.  Prakash Joshi (per-KAH-sh JOE-shee) is the Chair of the Collins View Neighborhood Association:
