BTTE Episode 270: 45rpm Party with Abeni Z

Back To The Egg and Radioland forces unite as Abeni Z and I team up to bring you a Punky party featuring nothing but 45s.

Abeni's punk 7-inch single collection is vast and very, very good. I, on the other hand, can count my punk 7-inches on one hand and I ran out of hardcore sounds about 2/3rds of the way through the program. Thankfully, Abeni threw me a bone at the end and I was able to throw in some some slower punk-ISH and post-punk jams at the end.

Abeni has been subbing for Back To The Egg for at least 3 years now and it was fun to finally do some radio together!

Thanks also to Abeni for producing the broadcast. In 10+ years of hosting a show at KBOO, it was my first time sitting in the guest section. I loved it.
