DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid are back on KBOO!

It's been six months since our last KBOO show, and DJ Anjali and I are excited to have the Anjali and The Kid show back on the air at our new day and time.  We had no intention of giving up our show, it was just that our schedule outside of KBOO made making our Sunday night show more and more difficult.  When we announced that we wouldn't be able to do Sundays any more back in February, we understood that getting a new show on a different day was not guaranteed, and we would just have to see what would happen. 

Tuesday nights from 10pm to midnight are just what the doctor ordered! 

Now that our show is happening every week, we are broadening our playlist.  While the South Asian diaspora will remain the focus of our selections, you can also expect to hear a smattering of sounds from various international hot spots that are tickling our ears at the moment.

Our first show on KBOO was back in November of 2005, and we owe it to then-KBOO Outreach Coordinator Chihiro Wimbush for seeing the potential and getting the ball rolling, and KBOO Program Director Chris Merrick for offering us a show.  Thanks to Ani Haines, KBOO Volunteer Coordinator for all her help, and everyone in the KBOO family who has made us feel welcome over the years.

We are glad to be back.
